Quilt made of two overlapping woollen, children's garments, heavily embroidered with wool (herringbone stitch), backed with checked flannelette, edged with woollen crochet. Woollen crochet edging has 5 rows of treble crochet, with one row of double crochet on edge. No apparent padding.

Wholecloth utilitarian quilt with velour type material top and cottage weave curtain material on the back. The padding is a 'bush blanket'. There is a binding of turquoise woollen crochet encased in black cotton satin fabric Machine sewn and quilted.

Machined pieced quilt in random shapes of squares and rectangles. Made in one piece and then doubled over. Materials are mainly corduroys and wools with a large square of boucle. There is no quilting and no padding as the quilt is heavy and warm without it.

The padding is made from lots of hand and machine knitted woollen pieces, including jumpers. Black check binding. It is very heavy. It is not quilted. It is not used. The owner calls it a Wagga.

Fur rug, mainly rabbit skins. The animal origin of the centre strip of tan fur is unknown. Restoration work was done on the rug 30 years ago and a new green felt backing replaced the old green one.

Patchwork quilt made from squares of wool and cotton fabrics, from dressing gown material, skirts, and corduroy. Machine sewn onto a cotton counterpane woven in stripes of red, blue, black on white. Colours of fabrics are red, blue, yellow, white and grey, with a dark grey check. Sewn on a treadle sewing machine.

Wholecloth utility quilt covered with good quality cotton printed with posies of pink, blue and green flowers and leaves, the top side has darker colours than the reverse. Filling is made from old blanket pieces, cardigans and pullovers stitched to an old blanket. Top and back machine stitched together.

This quilt is one of a pair. The original padding by Sara Harborne consists of layers of pieced used clothing including; part of Sara's shawl (gold), part cream woollen blanket, part 'neck to knee' bathers pink and black/blue. Later additions by Nancy Stinson (daughter) are; orange pieces (part of husband Logan's pullover) and 2 bunny rugs made by Nancy's sister Enid. The padding has had 2 cotton wholecloth covers, the second one put on by Nancy in 1980.

Leather buggy rug constructed from hundreds of squares each 60mm. There is a pink band of the same size squares 3 rows in from each border. There is no padding. The backing is a towelling type material.

Patchwork quilt. An old sheet was used as the base for the quilt then garments no longer suitable for wearing were stitched to the sheet. Then pieces of old tablecloths, curtains and dressmaking scraps were used to make the quilt top and back. Hand stitched and quilted with long stitches. It is a heavy quilt.

This is a cover for another well worn quilt inside with a floral top and cream backing.
