Mt Kembla Mining Heritage Incorporated

Mt Kembla Mining Heritage Inc was formed to conduct an anual Festival coinciding with the anniversary of the Mt Kembla Mine disaster on 31st July 1902 which killed 96 men & boys. This Festival revolves around a significant and evolving Heritage Display and over the past 6 years people of the village and region have donated many and varied items to feature in this display. It is our intention to obtain a permanent home for the year round display of these items. A strategic plan is being constructed to give direction to this desire.
